Super Moon 2013
Hello....:)
Do make sure to look at the Moon tonight and the coming weekend. It will be a perigee full Moon, and will not be this close or as brilliant until August 2014.

Felix Baumgartner..Bravest Man Alive
In my opinion Feix Baumgartner is the bravest man alive today with his record breaking skydive from the edge of space! This man paves the way for the future of space travel.

Mars Mission
A reminder to those who already know, and an announcement to those who do not. :)
The rover named 'Curiosity,' is due to land on Mars at 6.30 AM GMT and will be covered live here:

The one tonne rover will descend at 13,000 mph through the Martian atmosphere. It will utilize a £1.67 billion heat shield, a supersonic parachute and eight rocket thrusters to manage the landing. 17 cameras and sampling instruments will perform tests on the Martian environment to discern for the presence of microscopic life (or previous life) and to determine the possibilities of a future manned mission. Hi Kate! Indeed, the notion of sending unmanned missions to Mars is quite intriguing but I cannot help but feel that the real "excitement" will come when humankind themselves will step onto the Martian terrain and begin exploration. Ray Bradbury's "The Martian Chronicles" always comes to mind for me and who knows what wonders await to be discovered on that distant Red Planet when we finally get there one day? CHEERS!!
